Hilarious and predictable when it comes to menu restaurant at Rognedinskaya street – that is very close to the Olympiyskiy National Sports Complex. The prices are rather high, and the public is appropriate. We recommend the following: meat plate a la homemade (chicken roll, veal roll with dried apricots, baked ham), solyanka (dish of stewed cabbage and meat with spices), Kiev recipe veal, Such a Vaudeville as a Mercy (rabbit in sour cream).

One can hardly say this is fast food, ‘cause if THAT is fast food, it is at its best: spacious interior in ethnic style, varied menu, and most important – it’s all delicious, starting with a salad and finishing with chicken a la Kiev and fried potatoes. Lipsky (Lipsky mansion)

Legendary place in Shevchenko Park, older people of Kiev remember it as Taras restaurant. Taras is now located near the Nyvky metro station, the menu is identical, and people of Kiev still have the habit of taking pancakes home from the restaurant. Yet despite these two places are very similar, we would still recommend O’Panas. The Shevchenko Park has special atmosphere, lots of people there, nice interior, the meals is rather bearable – so book your table in advance. There is much non-Ukrainian meals in the menu, and we especially like salad Nobles (baked pumpkin, apple, grape, Parma ham, sauce of goat cheese and raspberry), Catch Fisher (pumpkin, stuffed with spinach and baked sweet pepper with cheese and lemon sauce), beef medallions in berry sauce with baked pear. Borscht is quite good, potato pancakes are simply fabulous.
Wonderful place near the Museum of World War II, with a colorful interior. The venue is not too spacious, but it is rather comfortable. We highly recommend pike meat balls, mincemeat, borscht with prunes and pork ribs, cabbage soup in bread, cabbage rolls with porcini mushrooms. You will certainly like cheesecakes and poppy seed cake for dessert.
Designed for customers who still remember the Soviet 60s. The emblem shows Khrushchev. The menu is focused on the Soviet standards of good feast. To start with order potato pancakes with sour cream, pudding and cabbage rolls with meat. Borscht with sour cream is served in keeping with the best traditions of Ukrainian cuisine.
