Being first time in Kiev we booked a personal 5 hours walking tour and we are glad we did. Our guide was Alexandra, a lovely young, intelligent and engaging guide. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our tour covered all the key sites of Kiev: Independence Square, St. Michael’s Cathedral, St. Sophia Cathedral, St. Andrew’s Church, Golden Gate… Then a quick insight into the Metro before saying a fond farewell. I am sure more could have been achieved but for my wife and I the ability to dictate what we did on the day was much more beneficial. A totally enjoyable and worthwhile tour and throughout the communication from the company was perfect. Take good walking shoes and dress for the weather but don’t take too much stuff with you. Thank you Alexandra and Guide me UA.

We would highly recommend taking a tour with Kate – and if possible make it one of the first things you do in Kiev. Kate has lots of recommendations and also gave us discount coupons for a Chernobyl tour.

I booked a personal walking tour of the old town when I first arrived in Kiev and was very glad I did. My guide, Kate, was brilliant. She has a huge depth of knowledge of Kiev and the histroy of Ukraine. She has an infectous enthusiam and delivers, what could be quite dry information, in a light-hearted and entertaining way. She also gave some great advice on the best restaurants and bars in Kiev. I thoroughly recommend the tour.
