Chernobyl is the most famous Ukrainian phenomenon. If you plan to visit Ukraine or are already in the country, don’t miss the most important and unique experience and site.

Chernobyl Exclusion Zone

Radiation makes the zone particularly interesting. Now, a picture of contamination after a large radiation incident lays in the thousand-times-decreased scale there at the ground – the picture extremely intricate, interesting, representative also for chemical accidents and terrorist attacks, and fortunately already safe for the visitors. Of course, the Zone in its central part still has places with elevated radiation, and we definitely would NOT recommend you staying at them for a long time. However, if you follow the suggested route and the guides’ directions, your visit to the Chernobyl zone will be absolutely radiation-safe.

I liked the tour. It is a pity that the Guide me UA company does not conduct tours to Chernobyl on its own, as I understand it requires a special permit. However, their partner contacted me very quickly and the whole organization exceeded my expectations. To be honest, I didn’t really believe in the integrity and responsibility of people who work in Eastern Europe, but this is a reliable service and I can definitely recommend it.
As for Chernobyl. If you have ever been interested in this topic and studied the information about the tragedy, you should definitely come here and see everything with your own eyes. This is a unique place.

We did the daily private tour with my family on October 13st 2018. Our guide provided us with plenty of information on the events. The walk in Prypiat was great, plenty of great pictures. I think autumn is a good pick for the tour, the leaves gives a plus to the visit. The driver was also professional and very safe. The lunch at the canteen was good quality, but it could be better. Many thanks for your professionalism and I will encourage everyone visiting Kiev to do this tour.
